COS offers a comprehensive nutritional analysis that complements our health appraisals and, when integrated with a training program, optimizes results.

Options

Dietary analysis and consultation

This three-day analysis of your eating habits compares your nutrient intake with nutrient requirements, taking into account fitness levels and your goals of either gaining or losing weight. Clients will be provided with a report that includes a meal record and calories obtained from each food group, nutrient requirements, and percentages reached for each requirement. Analyzing the meal journal also helps identify any eating patterns that may be leading to health risks. This consultation provides education on the basics of healthy eating, depending on the client’s goal, and also outlines how much and when to eat to optimize energy and decrease health risks. Personal meal plans are provided with grocery lists to help you prepare the best meals with the right foods.

Follow-ups

Assessment of progress and consultation will be done regularly and new strategies integrated into your nutrition plan. Topics of further interest can also be discussed during these assessments, such as:

  • How to read food labels
  • Personal grocery shopping
  • Minerals and Osteoporosis
  • Carbs, Diabetes, and Hypoglycemia

Weight Loss Coaching

This option is for the person who needs a little more motivation to attain the weight they want. Our weight loss coaches will help you find a way to integrate fitness activity and nutrition into your lifestyle, not only to get results, but to ensure they’re permanent. This option includes a dietary analysis, and the results include handouts on meal preparation and personalized grocery lists. Initial and follow-up assessments on body composition are performed to track your progress. The weight loss coach is there to motivate, educate, and support you through this process. Continual on-line support is available while personal meetings are scheduled twice weekly.
